Sunday, February 15th - Polo at Lakewood Ranch
Tailgating Theme: President’s Day: Red, White & Blue
Patt & Mike Staley and John & Carol O’Brien, are
planning on good weather and will sponsor a day at the Polo Field at Lakewood Ranch with the theme being “President’s Day: Red, White & Blue.” “Best Burger,” “Best Homemade Dessert,” and “Best All American Décor” will be judged.

The hosts will bring grills with all the necessary
supplies; burgers, all the trimmings, baked beans, potato salad, pasta salad and of course, apple pie with whipped cream. We will have 2 canopies and tables for food, utensils, plates, napkins etc.

We are asking everyone to bring an appetizer or dessert
keeping in mind the patriotic theme. Bring your choice of drink (BYOB), chairs, hats and sunscreen. Red, White and Blue is the uniform of the day.

We suggest you arrive around 11:30 to allow plenty of time for socializing, checking out the horses and partaking in good food and drink. We will be set up with tailgating on the north side of the field, east of the grandstands. Look for a US flag, and our MOAS banner.

DIRECTIONS: From I-75, exit 213, University Parkway east toward Lakewood Ranch. Go 3.5 miles and turn right onto Lorraine Rd. Enter the second polo field entrance on the right where thy will be collecting money ($12/adult - children <12 are free). CASH ONLY. Parking is on your left. Park anywhere and come join us to the east of the stands. RSVP to John and Carol O’Brien by Feb 8 @ 907-8891 or cobrienvt@aol.com.
