Wreaths Across America Project

Colonel Scott,

I am in need of your assistance and the Military Officers Association of America.  I am sure you are aware of the Wreaths Across America project. Sarasota Military Academy has played in integral role in the past two years to ensure ALL veterans laid to rest at the Sarasota National Cemetery received a memorial wreath.  This year, approximately 2,000 more veterans were laid to rest at the cemetery. Therefore, we need to purchase approximately 7,700 wreaths.

Are you able to message out to your members to bring attention to the need to donate a memorial wreath to ensure ALL veterans receive a memorial wreath?  The cost of one memorial wreath is $15.  I absolutely cringe at the thought of any veteran laid to rest not receiving a memorial wreath.

While I am confident our Cadets, families, faculty and staff will obtain the majority of donations, I want to ensure we honor all veterans laid to rest.  I want to be able to send additional wreaths to other cemeteries for veterans.

Please let me know if you are able to send a message to your members.  It is easy.  They can go to our web page;
sarasotamilitaryacademy.org

and click on the scrolling bar indicated Wreaths Across America.  They can donate on-line.  Or, we have forms available in our office.  The last day to donate memorial wreaths for this year is November 25th.  There is a sense of urgency.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,
